Kunun Aya (tiger nuts juice) by maryam buhari

•4 cups tiger nuts
•2 cups dry dates
•1 whole coconut(cut into chunks)
•1 teaspoon vanilla flavour powder
•1 cup sugar
•1 piece of ginger
• ice cubes

•Soak tiger nuts and dates separately over night with water 

•In the morning pick out stones wash drain properly, using a blender or grinder blend the Tiger nuts, dates, coconuts, ginger with water until very soft, using a sieve with tiny holes sieve and discard the chaff(add more water if you feel it's too thick) 

•Add the sugar, vanilla flavor powder, and ice cubes, mix very well and serve.
